Coronavirus kills 391 more in Iran over past 24 hours

The coronavirus pandemic caused by the new respiratory virus‌‌‌‌‌‌ has killed over 4,702,107 people and infected 229,031,398 worldwide.

Iran (IMNA) - Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced that 391 more Iranians have lost their lives as a result of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours taking the country’s tally of total deaths to 117,182.

15975 new coronavirus infections were detected over the past 24 hours, of whom 2,207 have been hospitalized.

There have been nearly 5424835 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran, 4,764,998 of the cases cured or discharged from the hospitals.

The all-out-efforts of Iranian officials have focused on taking measures to curb the outbreak and prevent further spread.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 229,031,398 and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at least 4,702,107; however, more than 205,649,800 people have recovered.
