Iran Firmly Rejects Western Claims on Nuclear Enrichment Compromise

The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry has responded to a recent Western media report regarding Iran's nuclear enrichment capabilities, emphasizing that "Continuing enrichment in Iran is an uncompromising principle."

Iran (IMNA) - In response to a Reuters report quoting alleged Iranian officials suggesting a possible compromise on enrichment during talks with the United States, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei categorically denied the claim. He stated, "Continuing enrichment in Iran is an uncompromising principle."

Baghaei further criticized Reuters' report as a continuation of fabricated news, which has been repeatedly rejected and proven false.

Meanwhile, Iran and the United States conducted their fifth round of negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program in Rome on Friday. The talks were led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US President Donald Trump's regional envoy, Steve Witkoff.
