Iran Asserts No Negotiations on Military Capabilities

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei firmly stated on Monday that the Islamic Republic will never engage in negotiations regarding its defense and military capabilities.

Iran (IMNA) - This declaration comes amid rumors of potential discussions between Iran and European nations concerning the country's missile program.

During a weekly press conference, Baghaei emphasized that while it is not unusual for parties to present their arguments, Iran's position remains steadfast. "What should be considered is that Iran will not negotiate about its defense and military capabilities in any way," he asserted.

In addition, Baghaei addressed the implications of the so-called snapback mechanism, indicating that the current Iranian administration would respond reciprocally if such measures were enacted. He underlined that there would be no justification for Iran to remain committed to any agreements under those circumstances.
