More bicycle-sharing stations will be launched in Isfahan

Isfahan deputy mayor for transportation and traffic said that by the end of this year, 10 bike-sharing systems in Isfahan will be launched and provided to the citizens.

Isfahan (IMNA) -Referring to the presence of 1000 bicycle-sharing systems throughout the city he said, "Due to the cool reception of citizens from some bike-sharing stations, some of them were shut down, and now 15 bike stations are active and will soon be entrusted to the private sector. Fortunately, with the development of culture-building practices, these days we are seeing an increase in the number of cyclists in Isfahan."
 

Alireza Salavati, Isfahan deputy mayor for transportation and traffic, noted that by the end of this year, with the participation of the private sectors, different types of bicycles including electric bicycles, ordinary bicycles and scooters with different set of fares, will be presented to the citizens. He also continued, "10 bike-sharing systems in Isfahan will be launched and provided to the citizens. According to our schedule, 25 other stations will be also added and eventually there will be 50 bike-sharing stations throughout the city."
