IMNA reported Abdolvahab Sahl-Abadi’s meeting with the Finnish ambassador in Tehran and quoted him as saying: Finland embassy is capable of paving the ground to establish bilateral relations between the chambers of Commerce of the two countries.
Sahl-Abadi elsewhere in his talks considered lifting anti-Iran financial sanctions an opportunity for European countries to restart the fiscal relations. He confirmed that Iran is among the safest countries in the Middle East, serving a confident destination for European investors.
“With its population of 70 million people, Iran borders with a 400-million-people bazaar; so Finland can grasp this opportunity to enter such market”, explained Sahl-Abadi.
The ambassador of Finland said in this visit: the current lunar year coincides with the 100th anniversary of Finland’s Independence, and Iran was among the first countries which made connections with Finland at the time. He further wished future stronger ties between the two sides.
The Finnish official recognized the Finland economy more of export-oriented, assuring: we are ready to hold relations between Finland and Isfahan in different financial domains.
