“We are on a par with the developed and advanced countries in nuclear science and technology, and that is a reality,” Eslami said.
He added that rejecting Iran’s possession of nuclear technology would not alter the country’s scientific capabilities.
“We have done nothing wrong,” the AEOI chief stated, arguing that Iran’s adversaries would have no other grounds to target the country if they stopped attempting to undermine its nuclear energy sector.
Eslami also highlighted the role of Iran’s human resources, technological expertise and younger generation in advancing the country’s scientific and technological capabilities, saying these strengths had enabled Iran to pursue the highest levels of progress.
Addressing the application of nuclear technology in industry, he said the technology had become integrated into major industrial sectors, including refineries, petrochemical plants and steel production.
He further noted that industrial facilities across Iran had been targeted during what he described as unprovoked US-Israeli aggression, with attacks aimed at damaging components essential to maintaining the stability of industrial processes.
