‌‌‌‌ President Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking at a ceremony honoring school-building philanthropists in Isfahan Province, stated, “Those who today have built missiles and nuclear energy capabilities were once students just like these. They believed they could succeed, and it was this belief that enabled them to achieve. This spirit must be fostered and cultivated within our youth today.”

Iran (IMNA) - On Thursday, October 16, during the event held at Isfahan’s Summit Hall with the attendance of national and provincial officials, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of continuous efforts toward national progress: “As long as we breathe, we must strive for the advancement of our country. The presence of philanthropists signifies that we cannot allow ourselves to fall behind others. Just as the prayers we offer embody the pursuit of excellence and faith in the Almighty God, nothing should deter us from the path of growth.”

He added, “Within every student lies a treasure trove of potential, and it is our duty to uncover these capacities and provide an environment where they can flourish. School-building serves as a fertile ground for growth and development. The individuals who have contributed to our missile and nuclear achievements were once like these students — they believed in their abilities, and that belief made success possible. We must nurture this mindset in the new generation.”

The President further asserted, “We are capable of progress in all fields. Our enemies have pinned all their hopes on weakening Iran, but when the people stand united, no power can defeat them. Today, we must join hands and, with unity, cohesion, and the leadership of the Supreme Leader, continue the nation’s path of progress. Unity and solidarity are foundational to our faith, and officials must always prioritize the people. Even if thousands sacrifice their lives, thousands more will rise to carry the torch forward.”

Expressing gratitude toward the philanthropists, Pezeshkian said, “With the launch of this school-building movement, it is imperative for everyone to participate and take at least one step forward. I myself will join the campaign ‘Be a Builder of Schools’ by dedicating one month’s salary to this initiative, transferring five million tomans monthly.”

He emphasized the importance of instilling patriotism in students: “We must educate those who are deeply connected to this land. If our children cultivate this belief, we will surely turn this soil into gold. We are literally sitting on a treasure trove of resources; abundant capital exists in the country, and it only takes a step toward building our homeland — a collective responsibility.”

The President also highlighted the potential impact of energy conservation: “If we save just ten percent in energy and fuel consumption, it would be equivalent to reducing 800,000 barrels of oil and gas daily. Achieving this means Iran will never face shortages again, and no one will suffer from hunger. When we unite, sanctions will fail to cripple us, and our enemies won’t even dare dream of such a day. We can once again bring pride and honor to our nation.”

Referring to unfinished national projects, Pezeshkian stated, “Today, five million billion worth of projects lie dormant and neglected. These projects must be completed within a reasonable period. Our weaknesses in certain technologies stem from our education system, as it is schools that shape the perspectives of future managers, industrialists, and builders.”

He concluded, “With the help of philanthropists and public cooperation, we can bring about fundamental changes in education in a short time and become an unparalleled model. As the Supreme Leader has urged, we must be a source of inspiration. Inspiration cannot be realized through slogans alone; it must be embodied in our actions and conduct.”

The President ended by stressing, “Today, we must create the necessary infrastructure across all sectors. By working together with all those devoted to this land, we will build the country with strength and capability.”
