The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, embarked on a tour of the 35th edition of the Tehran International Book Fair on Monday morning.
Iran (IMNA) - This annual event, held in May in Tehran, has evolved significantly since its inception in 1988, where it showcased 16 thousand book titles. Over the years, the fair has grown into a significant cultural gathering, becoming a prominent book fair in the Middle East and Asia.
With millions of visitors attending each year, including numerous university students, scholars, and their families, the Tehran International Book Fair stands as a pivotal cultural event in Iran. The 35th edition of the fair is scheduled to run from May 8th to May 18th, 2024, at the Grand Mosalla mosque in Tehran, continuing its tradition of fostering literary and intellectual exchange.
