The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili, was in attendance at the closing ceremony of the 24th Iran Media Expo, which took place on Wednesday night at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla.

Iran (IMNA) - The four-day exhibition, aimed at promoting and strengthening the media industry, concluded on February 21. Active participating media outlets were honored in eight groups based on the votes of the visitors.

More than 600 media outlets, creative groups, and knowledge-based companies showcased their latest developments at the expo. Additionally, 80 specialized and public sessions were held on the sidelines of the exhibition, with a particular focus on the future of Iranian media in relation to technology and artificial intelligence.

Media activists and digital influencers were present at this year's event, alongside international media representatives from countries such as Russia, Qatar, China, Lebanon, Turkey, and others. Furthermore, a dozen resistance media outlets from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon also attended.

Particularly notable was the participation of foreign media outlets affiliated with the Resistance Front, who used the expo as a platform to share news about the ongoing war in Gaza. According to reports, over 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli airstrikes during the conflict, which has lasted more than four months.
