Iranians across the country took to the streets to express their support for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, who have endured relentless Israeli attacks in recent weeks. Thousands of people from various backgrounds participated in nationwide rallies on Saturday, vehemently denouncing the ongoing bloodshed caused by Israel.
Iran (IMNA) -Protesters waved Palestinian flags and raised their voices against the occupying Israeli regime, particularly criticizing its Western supporters, including the United States. The demonstrators strongly condemned the Israeli massacres of innocent civilians and demanded that the regime be held accountable for its crimes.
This is not the first time Iranians have held rallies in response to Israel's brutal war on the impoverished Palestinian territory, which began over a month ago. In a remarkable show of unity and solidarity, around 700 Iranian media outlets, including news agencies, newspapers, and publications, issued a joint statement condemning the unprecedented killing of people and journalists by the Israeli regime.
The statement expressed deep sorrow for the martyrdom of 50 journalists in Gaza and the intentional targeting of their homes by the Zionist occupation regime. Tragically, these attacks have also resulted in the deaths of family members of these journalists, in addition to the killing of over 11,000 oppressed people of Gaza, including thousands of women and children who have been left in devastation.
The media of the Islamic Republic of Iran stands in solidarity with the martyrs of Gaza, joining forces with all freedom-loving people worldwide. They view these atrocities as further evidence of the autocratic nature of this illegitimate regime and the brutality of its supporters.
