One of the most revered religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide is Eid al Adha (Farsi: عید قربان). It is also referred to as the Feast of Sacrifice and it's observed to remember how Prophet Ibrahim, better known as Abraham, was prepared to sacrifice his son Ishmael as a sign of his submission to Allah. But Allah gave a sheep to be sacrificed in its stead. This festival would not be complete without the act of sacrifice, which represents Muslims' readiness to dedicate their entire lives to serving Allah.
Iran (IMNA) This day falls on the tenth day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah. It signifies the conclusion of the Hajj pilgrimage season, during which Muslims go to Makkah to complete the hagiographic journey.
Eid-Ul-Adha is traditionally celebrated over three days, during which Muslims congregate with their friends and family to feast and participate in other celebratory festivities. It is a time for contemplation, forgiveness, and fellowship. The day of Eid Ul Adha begins with congregational prayers in the early morning hours. Muslims are advised to attend the prayers dressed to the nines.
May this Eid al-Adha bring joy and happiness to your life. May Allah bless you with prosperity and success on this auspicious occasion. Happy Eid!
