Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi has sternly warned the apartheid Israeli dictatorship against taking any action against the Islamic Republic, threatening to destroy Haifa and Tel Aviv if they do.

Iran (IMNA) - Raeisi made the statements during a parade to commemorate National Army Day in Tehran on Tuesday, when he stated that the Iranian Army's strengths are built on indigenous know-how.

"The enemies, particularly the Zionist regime (Israel), have received this message that even the smallest move against the country will elicit a severe response from the armed forces, accompanied by the destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv," he continued.

He also stated that the Iranian Armed Forces' message to US soldiers is to depart the region immediately.

According to the Iranian president, it is in both their own and the region's best interests for American and extra-regional forces to withdraw from the area as soon as possible.

"The presence of foreign forces endangers regional security, but our military forces provide security wherever they are present in the region," he said.

He stated that the Iranian Armed troops had fought terrorism and strengthened regional security, but Western troops simply represent a threat to surrounding countries.

"The sheer power of the Iranian Armed Forces benefits regional security, and "it is no secret to anyone that our armed forces have protected the territorial integrity and security of the countries in the region," he added.

He emphasized once more that the presence of foreign soldiers, particularly American troops, would never be able to guarantee the security of the Persian Gulf region.
