"We take the constructive interaction between the managers and officials of Isfahan as a stroke of good fortune. We started with genuine commitment in 1992, and we are going through the last days with the construction that is the meaningful engagement pay-off," President Hassan Rouhani stated in the inauguration ceremony of Isfahan International Conference Center.
Iran (IMNA) - The President emphasized, "Isfahan is beautiful; it was needed to build an international conference hall deserving this attractive city. I think very highly of all the designers, engineers and workforces involving in the project because they did a valuable job."
Rouhani expressed hope that several national and international meetings would be held at Isfahan International Conference Center and that it would be used in the best possible way.
"The mega project of International Conference Center was started in 2010 with the aim of holding the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Isfahan. Although it was supposed to be launched in a short time, the project was delayed. After years of struggle, we completed the project by allocating more than one thousand billion tomans," the Mayor of Isfahan Ghodratollah Norouzi said.
He added, "In the future, top officials will definitely be invited to Isfahan International Conference Center as it has become a globe hub for international negotiations; state leaders and foreign ministers will be here to make big decisions."
