Against this background, the city of Isfahan was awarded the UNICEF CFCI logo in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and UNICEF.
"Currently, 58 countries (compared to 40 in 2019) are implementing the Child-Friendly Cities Initiative in cooperation with UNICEF at various levels; however, we still need to know what is a child-friendly city. She continued, "Today, we have gathered to celebrate the extremely important step in turning Isfahan into a more child-friendly city, and pave the way to expand the initiative. with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation among the Ministry of Interior, UNICEF representative office in Iran and the municipality, Isfahan is recognized as the first city in Iran to join the global network of child-friendly cities as a candidate and receives the CFCI logo; This means that Isfahan is responsible for improving the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable ones.
