Iran's National Population day is an annual event, observed on 19 May every year, seeking to raise awareness on population issues. The event was established by supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran (IMNA) - World Population Day aims to increase people's awareness on population issues such as the importance of family planning, promoting marriage, easing marriage processes, removing barriers in marriage, maternal health, nursing care for women during pregnancy, suitable facilities for pregnant women, treatment of male and female infertility, and etc.
