While many countries across the world are at different points in their Coronavirus outbreak, there are currently millions of students and teachers affected by schools and university closures due to the pandemic.

Iran (IMNA) - According to UNICEF, 186 countries are currently undergoing nationwide closures and 8 are implementing local closures, impacting about 98.5 percent of the world's student population.

School suspension affects not only students' achievements, but have subsequent economic and societal consequences.

The impact is more obvious for deprived families, causing interrupted learning. However, with the ongoing spread of the coronavirus and in response to educational system closures, the use of technology and online learning platforms has been implemented through educational applications to lessen the effects of the disruption and ensure educational delivery to the isolated students.

With this sudden shift away from the real classroom atmospheres to virtual world, some are wondering whether the adoption of distance learning will continue to execute in post-pandemic; such a shift would impact the worldwide education market forever.

The biggest challenge is that how to move from traditional education systems to online- learning and how to get the better of the problems of practical courses and training.
