Isfahan’s appearance has changed significantly as it grapples with the coronavirus outbreak; the novel coronavirus is putting the city on hold.

Iran (IMNA) - The coronavirus epidemic has had a drastic effect on Iranian cities, with fears of the highly contagious virus emptying public parks and streets in Isfahan.

With Isfahan in coronavirus partial lockdown, the city has become almost deserted, with only a few pedestrians and vehicles on the streets.

The fast-spreading virus has put an end to public gatherings; Shops, cultural institutions, schools and businesses are closing their doors to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

citizens are being asked to avoid crowds and limit their travel.

Museums, historical places and other popular attractions have been shut down to curb the spread of the coronavirus .

Some critical organizations are doing their part to help; however, non-essential business workers are being asked to stay at home and work remotely.
