National Children's Day is not just a day to celebrate children for who they are, but to bring awareness to children around the world from different ages, ethnic/racial groups and religious background.

Iran (IMNA) - We as adults should build a world where every child is in school and learning, safe from any danger and able to fulfill his/her potential. In Iran, National Children’s Day has been created to change the way children are treated by society and to improve their welfare both materially and spiritually.

Some Iranian children are living in extreme poverty. They are often unprotected, oppressed, deprived of medicine, education and shelter. Each year, Iranian people celebrate the National Children’s Day on October 8 to promote national togetherness and awareness on children to improve the quality of their life.

Lets see some moments of a celebration that was held for working children in Isfahan.

"If one can do some good in the life of a child then there can be change, at least a slightest change, in the world to come."
