.The Library of Congress make the exquisite collection of Persian manuscripts available online for public access

Iran (IMNA) - The Library of Congress is the oldest federal cultural institution in the United States. The research library is the home of a noteworthy collection of rare Persian materials. The good news is that the valuable Persian collection is being digitized and available online.

It took three years to complete the online collection; in the first step 170 works were digitized, and at later points, at least 600 lithographic books and exquisite lead printed books will be available online.

The Masnavi, Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, Nezami's Khamseh, Sa'adi's Yusuf and Zulaikha and Koliat-e-Saadi are the main Persian materials that have been published online.

The digitalized manuscripts are available at  https://www.loc.gov/collections/persian-language-rare-materials/about-this-collection/.
