Tehran is going to celebrate Nowruz with a new appearance.
Iran (IMNA) - The 4th edition of Tehran's annual beautification festival is underway throughout the Iranian capital. Installing colored eggs, environmental statues and artworks along with painting urban walls are among the measures that Tehran's beautification organization have been taken so far. The festival under the title of Baharestan is an event held on the eve of Nowruz during which top artists will implement their urban artworks across the city.
Providing adequate contexts for new ideas, promoting Persian-Islamic culture and traditions, creating social interaction between artists and citizens using the language of visual art are some of objectives beahind the event. However we should keep in mind that Iran's capital is the one that benefits greatly from the project!
