1 October is specified as the International Day of Older Persons by The United Nations General Assembly.
Isfahan (IMNA) – In Iran, the week of the older persons is observed from 30 September until 6 October. Each year, Isfahan municipality provides special programs for the commemoration of this week considering the challenges facing older persons in Isfahan; all activities during Older Persons Week focuses on elders issues.
