During the reign of Mozaffar al-Din Shah in Isfahan, Soleiman Khan Shirazi, the lieutenant governor of the ruler of Isfahan called Zalolsoltan decided to leave the Iranian arts for the future.

Isfahan (IMNA) – There is a permanent exhibition center of Qajar architecture in Feiz Street, before Vale Street; a festival of colors and designs that attracts every passers; an amazing building built by one of the great people of Isfahan, Mirza Soleiman Khan Shirazi known as Roknolmolk, in a part of the historical, cultural, and religious complex of Takht-e Foulad, that is known as Roknolmolk mosque.

It is located in a place that is the eternal home of some intellectuals, philosophers, Foqaha, artists, politicians, journalist, poets, astronomers, mathematicians, and martyrs; a beautiful building that attracts everybody. This is the place where the proximity of the mosque and school is evident. The entrance portal, the porch, small and big courtyards, fourfold Ivans, columned shabestans, and the chambers are all beautiful, and everybody who enters this historical exhibition center will enjoy the creative style of Qajar architecture, Suls and Nastaliq calligraphy, and beautiful tileworks.
