"The city of Shahreza has a great potential in tourism industry which can generate an investment boom, avoid recession and provide more opportunities for youth employment, but unfortunately, these potentials have not taken into account," Somayeh Mahmoudi, a member of the social commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran said.

Isfahan (IMNA) - She emphasized, "In all countries, the tourism industry is considered as one of the most important pillars of economic development, job creation and sustainable employment. "Unfortunately, the city's tourism potentials have been ignored, while rural and nomadic areas and historical and religious sites of the city can attract thousands of tourists every year and eventually generate wealth for citizens," Mahmoudi continued.

She stressed that "Esfarjan" and "Honejan" villages in Shahreza have been introduced as the special tourism zones, and the governments have provided adequate contexts for creating jobs in this area, but unfortunately, the private sector and especially the villagers do not welcome these facilities.

Saying that Imamzadeh Shah-reza is one of the most important tourist attraction in Isfahan, the member of the social commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran said, "Unfortunately, the comprehensive plan to develop this Imamzadeh has not been prepared yet, while the implementation of this project is one of the most important requirements to thrive tourism industry in this city."
