Qashqai tribe is one of the three tribes in Iran that their Yailagh destination is Isfahan province. Usually, The Qashqai people migrate to the summer quarters (Yailagh) in Semirom, Dehaghan, and Shahreza, from their winter quarters (Qishlaq) in Fars province, Bushehr province, Kohgiluye va buyer-Ahmad province, at the end of June; they will settle in summer quarters until October.
Isfahan (IMNA) - They traditionally practice nomadic pastoralism and cultivation of crops. The Qashqai lifestyle is laced with hardworking and simple living, although the traditional lifestyle is also changing by a new generation of change-makers; cars replaced horses and mules, brezent tents replaced handmade black tents, even block and cement houses replaced tents and yurts. But there are still clear signs of genuine nomadic life which has been common in the Qashqai generations.
Generally, as tribes are placed in deprived areas, less developed, and inaccessible places, they receive the least human development indicators such as; health and cure, veterinary medicine, the suitable way, fuel, literacy, education, access to the press and mass media and etc. They suffer from the lack of adequate clean water for drinking and indoor and outdoor household purposes due to the drought in recent years.
When you are their guests, they welcome you with everything they have which achieved by hardworking; the brave Qashqai men and women work hard from the morning, before the sun breaks, until the night. Here is the only place where you don’t feel danger by seeing Berno weapons and bandoliers on men’s shoulders. Stay with them only one day to enjoy every moment of being in lush green plains and high mountains.
