Pezeshkian: Iranian Unity and Resilience Defeated Enemies' Attempts to Destabilize the Country

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the resilience, determination, and unity of the Iranian people had thwarted enemies' efforts to destabilize the country, emphasizing that attempts to impose on Iran the same fate as Syria had failed due to public vigilance and cooperation with the government.

Iran (IMNA) - In a televised address to the nation broadcast on national television on Wednesday evening, Pezeshkian said Iran's enemies had sought to weaken the country through wars and sanctions but were unsuccessful because of the Iranian people's vigilance, resilience, and collaboration with the government.

The president stressed that the Iranian people's resilience and resolve had foiled the enemies' plots, adding that national unity remains the primary factor enabling the country to stand firm against its adversaries.

Pezeshkian further stated that the enemies oppose any sign of independence or progress achieved by the Iranian people.

The president also said the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, had consistently supported his administration, noting that the government could not have made such progress without the late leader's backing.

Despite the challenges the country has faced over the past two years, Pezeshkian said Iran today stands as a powerful and dignified nation.
