Araghchi: Iran Responds to Insults with Action, Not Words

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has condemned the rhetoric used by the U.S. president against the Iranian nation, stressing that Iranians respond to offensive language through action rather than insults.

Iran (IMNA) - In a post published on his X account on Wednesday evening, Araghchi rejected the remarks made by the U.S. president against Iran during the NATO summit held earlier that day in Turkey.

“Addressing the civilized and courageous nation of Iran with derogatory language does not diminish its greatness,” the Iranian foreign minister wrote.

He added that Iranians are widely recognized for their civility, rich culture, and strong moral values, emphasizing that “we do not answer vulgarity with vulgarity, but with action: fearlessly and with great valor.”
