Iran (IMNA) –In a post on his X account on Saturday, Esmaeil Baqaei rejected what he called the contradictory approach of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration.
“It is a grotesque absurdity that they claim to seek peace and prevent a nuclear crisis, yet their proposed solution is ‘one big glow,’” Baqaei wrote.
The spokesman appeared to reference a phrase associated with nuclear warfare, implicitly criticizing the administration’s posture as self-defeating.
Baqaei also pointed to Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 film *“Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb,”* the director’s first self-produced movie. He suggested the satirical Cold War classic should be watched to better understand the nature of the current U.S. administration’s rhetoric.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington, with the Trump administration having previously issued military warnings while also stating openness to diplomatic engagement over Iran’s nuclear program.
