Iran (IMNA) - "We stated from the beginning that we do not trust the Americans," Ghalibaf told reporters. He highlighted that the US had initiated attacks twice during ongoing negotiations, asserting that it is now up to the Americans to earn Iran's trust, a difficult and time-consuming process given their "bad faith."
Ghalibaf emphasized that the Iranian nation is steadfastly progressing towards success, relying on divine support and its own capabilities. He described the Iranian delegation, including experts, as a united national team dedicated to protecting the rights of the Iranian people, drawing a parallel to the nation's unified stance against adversaries.
He extended his gratitude to the negotiation team for their extensive talks, exceeding 20 hours, and to Iranian journalists for their role in countering enemy propaganda and amplifying the voice of the Iranian nation globally.
Addressing recent positions taken by US President Trump, Ghalibaf stated that such threats are ineffective against the Iranian people, citing their consistent resistance over 47 years of the Revolution across military, economic, and political fronts. "We have proven we do not surrender to threats," he affirmed.
Ghalibaf reiterated that the path for the US to find an "exit door" lies in earning the trust of the Iranian nation. "You are indebted to the Iranian nation and still have much effort to make to compensate," he added.
Concluding his remarks, Ghalibaf invoked Iran's rich civilization, stating, "If you fight, we will fight. If you come forward with logic, we will respond with logic. We will not bow to any threat. Test our will once again so that we teach you an even bigger lesson."
