Iran (IMNA) - Salehi stated that several residential homes were targeted during last night and early this morning in what he described as a savage assault by the attackers.

He added that according to the latest statistics, 30 people have been killed in these strikes and several others have been injured. A large number of women and children are among the victims.

The incident has renewed attention to the universally recognized principle that residential areas must never be exposed to harm in any armed confrontation. Homes, apartment buildings, and other civilian structures are meant to be safe spaces, and international humanitarian norms emphasize that civilians should be shielded from the dangers of conflict at all times.

Strikes affecting such areas not only cause immediate loss of life but also lead to long‑term psychological trauma, displacement, and the destruction of community life. Reports from the scene highlight how the damage to homes has left families without shelter and has disrupted essential daily routines, underscoring the broader human impact of violence directed toward populated neighborhoods.
