Iran (IMNA) - Najafi emphasized that attacking infrastructure is against international conventions and laws, and should not be a target for any nation. He reminded the world that Iran has not blocked the Strait of Hormuz, allowing passage for ships from friendly and neutral countries.
Acknowledging Iran’s right to self-defense, Najafi affirmed the country’s resolve to protect its territorial integrity, independence, military strength, and infrastructure.
This statement comes in response to a social media post by Donald Trump, who threatened to attack and destroy Iranian power plants if Iran did not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. In response, a spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that any damage to Iranian power plants would result in retaliatory strikes against the energy, oil, and industrial infrastructure of the United States and its allies in the region.
