Iran (IMNA) - In a post on his account on the social media platform X, Araghchi said on Saturday, “The U.S. spent months on bullying India into ending oil imports from Russia. After two weeks of war with Iran, White House is now begging the world—incl India—to buy Russian crude.”
The Iranian minister added, “Europe thought backing illegal war on Iran would win U.S. support against Russia. Pathetic.”
The US and Israeli regimes started a war of agression against Iran. In retaliation, Iran started to hit Israel and American interests in the region. Iran also applied certain limitations on passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, which resulted in higher oil prices throughout the world. To counter that the US lifted the oil sancions on Russian oil.
