Chehelsoton Palace, also a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famed for its frescoes and reflecting pool, representing a significant example of Persian art and design.
Iranian officials have strongly condemned the attacks, emphasizing the deliberate targeting of cultural heritage. there are calls for UNESCO to unequivocally condemn the attacks and take decisive action to protect Iranian cultural heritage.
