Widespread Damage Reported to Civilian Infrastructure Following Israeli‑American Attacks

Reports emerging from the Red Crescent Society paint a concerning picture of widespread damage to civilian infrastructure.

Iran (IMNA) _ Nearly 19,734 non-military and residential units have been affected by recent events. A significant portion of this damage, totaling 16,191, consists of residential homes, raising concerns about the displacement and safety of countless families.

Beyond residential areas, vital services have also been disrupted. The Red Crescent reports damage to 77 medical centers and pharmacies, potentially hindering access to essential healthcare. Furthermore, 65 educational facilities, including schools, have been impacted, disrupting the education of students. Sixteen Red Crescent centers, crucial for humanitarian aid and support, have also sustained damage, further straining relief efforts.

The Red Crescent Society is currently assessing the full extent of the damage and working to provide assistance to those affected. The circumstances surrounding these incidents and the nature of the damage are currently under investigation. International observers are calling for a thorough and transparent inquiry into the events and their impact on civilian
