Iran (IMNA) - In a post on X on Wednesday afternoon, Araghchi said that Iran’s “brave Armed Forces are prepared—with their fingers on the trigger—to immediately and powerfully respond to ANY aggression against our beloved land, air, and sea.”
He added that the “valuable lessons learned from the 12-Day War” have strengthened Iran’s ability to respond “even more strongly, rapidly, and profoundly.”
At the same time, the foreign minister underlined that Iran continues to support a “mutually beneficial, fair and equitable NUCLEAR DEAL,” provided it is based on equal footing and free from coercion, threats, or intimidation. Such a deal, he said, must ensure Iran’s rights to peaceful nuclear technology while guaranteeing that there are no nuclear weapons.
Araghchi further emphasized that nuclear weapons have no place in Iran’s security doctrine, adding that the country has never sought to acquire such arms.
