Iran (IMNA) - The integration process involved mounting the upgraded Kowsar satellite onto the separation block of the Soyuz launcher, where it has been positioned alongside other payloads scheduled for the same mission. According to available information, all technical and compatibility tests related to the integration were completed successfully, confirming the system’s readiness for launch.
The Kowsar satellite was developed by the Iranian knowledge-based company Omid Faza, highlighting ongoing advancements within Iran’s private and semi-private space technology sector.
As part of the same launch mission, the integration of two other Iranian satellites—Zafar-2 and Paya—was completed a day earlier.
All three Iranian satellites are scheduled to be launched on December 28 aboard a Soyuz rocket from Russia’s Vostochny Spaceport.
