Iran Releases First Hebrew-Language Documentary on 12-Day War

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency has unveiled the country’s first-ever Hebrew-language documentary, “Missiles Over Bazan,” presenting a strategic and analytical narrative of the covert confrontation between Iran and Israel during the 12-day war.

Iran (IMNA) - According to Tasnim, the release marks a historic milestone in Iranian media, as it is the first film produced entirely in Hebrew and specifically directed toward an Israeli audience.

The documentary offers an evidence-based account of Iran and Israel’s hidden battle within the oil and gas sector—an episode that, as reported, changed the trajectory of the conflict and influenced the regional balance of power.

Blending expert interviews, intelligence data, and visual reconstructions, “Missiles Over Bazan” highlights Iran’s strategic rationality, intelligence command, and operational precision in modern warfare.

Tasnim described the production as a new phase in Iran’s media strategy on Israel, designed to engage Hebrew-speaking audiences “from a position of power and reality” and to challenge prevailing narratives in Western and Israeli outlets.

The 12-day war began on June 13, when Israel launched what Iranian officials called an unprovoked assault amid ongoing nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington. The attack resulted in at least 1,064 deaths, including military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.

During the conflict, the United States also bombed three Iranian nuclear sites, an act described by Iranian authorities as a serious breach of international law.

In retaliation, Iranian Armed Forces struck multiple strategic locations across the occupied territories and targeted the U.S. Al-Udeid air base in Qatar—the largest American military installation in West Asia.

By June 24, following Iran’s retaliatory operations against both Israel and the United States, Tehran succeeded in bringing the hostilities to a halt, marking the end of the 12-day conflict.
