Winners of the 37th International Festival of Children and Youth Films Announced

The closing ceremony of the 37th International Festival of Children and Youth Films was held tonight, October 8th, at the Isfahan International Conference Center, where the winners of each category were officially announced and honored.

Iran (IMNA) - The event was attended by prominent figures including Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance; Mehdi Jamalizadeh, Governor of Isfahan; Ali Ghasemzadeh, Mayor of Isfahan; Raed Faridzadeh, Head of the Farabi Cinema Foundation; Hamed Jafari, Festival Secretary; Seyyed Mehdi Seyedannia, Director General of Isfahan’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Department; alongside numerous artists, filmmakers, and media representatives.

The festival awarded the prestigious Golden Butterfly to the following winners:

Best International Feature Film: Bache Mardom (Someone Else's child)

Best Short Film : Miss Boots

Best Visual Effects: Storm (China)

Best Screenplay: Almond Eye (Iran)

Best Director: Mahmoud Karimi for Bache Mardom

Honorary Diploma for Acting: Cast of Bache Mardom (Iran)

Best Child or Youth Actor: Honney (Austria)

Best Film: Miss Boots (Canada)

Additionally, the Festival Secretary’s Special Prize was awarded to the film Fish on the Hook.

The festival, renowned for celebrating cinematic achievements in children’s and youth films, continues to be a significant platform for showcasing creative talents from around the world.
