Iran, Uzbekistan Sign MoU to Enhance Cultural Cooperation

The National Library and Archives of Iran and the Islamic Civilization Center of Uzbekistan have formalized a memorandum of understanding (MoU) focused on cultural cooperation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Iran (IMNA) - The MoU was signed by Gholamreza Amirkhani, Head of the National Library and Archives of Iran, during his visit to participate in the “International Expert Forum: The Legacy of a Great Past – The Foundation of an Enlightened Future.” The signing ceremony took place in the presence of forum guests and participants, coinciding with the international conference titled “Brilliant Heritage of the Past – Foundation of a Bright Future” held in Uzbekistan's capital.

This event gathered over 100 researchers and specialists from 20 countries, highlighting the Islamic Civilization Center's role as a central platform for scientific and cultural dialogue on Islamic heritage across Central Asia. The Center, established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and advancing the scientific and civilizational heritage of Islamic nations.
