Iran (IMNA) - The commendation came during his meeting late Wednesday in Baghdad with Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Center for Political and International Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
In their discussions, both officials highlighted the crucial role of dialogue and diplomacy in settling unresolved issues within the region and globally. They also evaluated the bilateral relations between their neighboring countries, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation at all levels.
The meeting further addressed regional developments, joint efforts to promote stability, prevent conflicts, and other topics of shared importance. Both sides strongly condemned Israeli actions in Gaza — citing murder, starvation, and genocide — and called on the international community to adopt a sincere and firm approach against these violations of international law.
