Iran (IMNA) - On Tuesday, Iran’s Ambassador to Baku, Mojtaba Demirchilu, met with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Shahin Mustafayev, to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in trade, investment, transportation, energy, and infrastructure projects. Both sides emphasized the urgency of accelerating the implementation of previously agreed-upon measures.
Key topics also included reinforcing border cooperation, facilitating activities in free zones, increasing the volume of goods trade, and completing joint infrastructure initiatives such as transportation corridors, logistics centers, and border crossings.
The meeting reflected a mutual commitment to deepen economic ties and capitalize on shared opportunities for regional development.
