Pezeshkian: Sincere Public Service Vital to Thwart Enemy Conspiracies

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized that providing genuine public service to all segments of society is a fundamental strategy for countering enemy conspiracies against the country.

Iran (IMNA) - During a meeting in Tehran with the head and deputies of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs on Saturday, Pezeshkian expressed his gratitude for the unity and solidarity demonstrated by the Iranian people in response to the Zionist regime’s actions during the recent imposed war on Iran.

He pointed out that adversarial groups have tried to stir unrest and protests, but Iranians have disappointed these efforts by steadfastly supporting their nation. As a result, Pezeshkian stated, officials now shoulder an even greater responsibility to address the needs of the people.

The president highlighted that citizens have assisted Iranian intelligence agencies in exposing espionage networks. He remarked, “Today, it is our turn to serve the people based on rights, fairness, and justice, regardless of gender, ethnicity, beliefs, or race. The enemy continues to seek to create a rift between the people and the government, and the primary way to neutralize this plot is through sincere and selfless service to the people.”

Pezeshkian urged all relevant officials to design and implement effective strategies to serve the public, especially those impacted by the recent 12-day war.

He also recalled statements by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, noting that “the Leader described unity and cohesion as the most vital needs of today’s society and even the Islamic world.”

Additionally, Pezeshkian addressed the issue of Afghan migrants and the return of those residing illegally, acknowledging the challenges in managing such a large-scale effort. He stressed the necessity of ensuring that the process is handled respectfully and peacefully.
