Iran's Non-Oil Trade Reaches $24.684 Billion in First Quarter of 2025

The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) has reported that the total value of Iran’s non-oil trade during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21, 2025) reached $24.684 billion.

Iran (IMNA) - Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Foroud Askari stated that between March 21 and June 22, 2025, Iran exported 34.476 million tons of non-oil goods valued at $11.655 billion. This represents a decline of 9.3 percent in weight and 14.4 percent in value compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, Askari noted that 11.133 million tons of petrochemicals, worth $4.684 billion, were exported from March 21 to June 21, 2025. This marks a decrease of 28.7 percent in weight and 24.5 percent in value compared to the previous year’s corresponding period.

The main five products exported overseas during this period were liquefied propane, liquefied butane, methanol, oil bitumen, and natural gas.

Askari concluded that the total volume of the country’s exported non-oil trade stood at 43.489 million tons, valued at $24.684 billion.
