Iran (IMNA) - In a meeting with Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Ashgabat on Monday, Araqchi discussed the regional implications of the military actions taken by the Israeli regime and the United States.
Araqchi emphasized that the U.S. attack on Iran highlighted the Israeli regime's weakness and desperation in dealing with the nation. He reiterated that Iran does not seek to escalate tensions in the region.
The Foreign Minister pointed out that Iran's missile strike on the Al-Udeid military base was a direct response to the U.S.'s blatant violation of Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty. He warned that should the U.S. engage in any further actions, Iran is prepared to respond accordingly.
In response, Meredov expressed Turkmenistan's opposition to the Israeli regime's attacks on Iran, noting that as a close neighbor, Turkmenistan has consistently opposed such aggression. He reaffirmed Turkmenistan's stance as a neutral country that does not accept the use of force or threats to resolve conflicts.
