Iran (IMNA) - Speaking at a press briefing on Monday, Mousavi emphasized that the Zionist regime is too weak to harm Iran’s grandeur, while Iran’s power poses serious challenges to Israel and its allies. He warned that due to the current Israeli leadership’s recklessness, any misstep could prompt Iran to respond with another "True Promise" strike, for which Iran is fully prepared.
Last year, Iran demonstrated its military capabilities through Operation True Promise I and II, retaliatory strikes involving hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones targeting sensitive Israeli military and intelligence sites with precision. Iranian officials have noted that only a fraction of their firepower was used during these operations.
Mousavi highlighted that these retaliatory strikes were a unified response involving the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Division, the Army, and the Defense Ministry, showcasing Iran’s advanced defense power and deterrence. He also noted that Iran has developed strategic drone and underground tactical bases and made significant advancements in land, air, sea, and space defense technologies, reinforcing national security and deterring enemy aggression.
Iranian military leadership has indicated that Operation True Promise III will be carried out at an appropriate time, under the guidance and prudence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reflecting strategic wisdom rather than cancellation. The country continues to strengthen its military capabilities, reportedly developing forces ten times stronger than those deployed in Operation True Promise II.
In summary, Iran maintains a posture of strong deterrence and readiness to respond decisively to any Israeli aggression, reaffirming its capability and willingness to conduct further strikes akin to the True Promise operations if provoked.
