Iran Condemns Israeli Attacks in Gaza, Calls for Accountability and End to Impunity

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s ongoing attacks and crimes in the Gaza Strip, demanding an end to what he described as the impunity of Israeli leaders. Baghaei called for the prosecution and punishment of those responsible, as well as an immediate halt to the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Iran (IMNA) - Baghaei denounced the unprecedented crimes committed by the Israeli regime against defenseless Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank, highlighting recent brutal assaults on temporary shelters and medical centers in Gaza that have resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries. He emphasized the direct responsibility of Israel’s military and political supporters, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom.

The spokesperson stated that, following the failure of ceasefire negotiations, the occupying regime has intensified its attacks in an effort to impose illegitimate demands and forcibly displace Gaza residents. Baghaei stressed that such aggression would be met with heroic resistance from the Palestinian people.

Baghaei further warned that normalizing severe human rights and humanitarian violations in Gaza and the West Bank would constitute an irreversible disaster for the United Nations system and international law. He underscored that every state has a legal and moral obligation to end the genocide and stop the crimes against humanity and war crimes being committed by Israel, urging immediate and serious international action.
