Iran, Qatar Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza Crisis, Bilateral Relations, and Iran-US Talks in Doha

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha on Saturday evening, as part of his visit to attend the fourth Iran–Arab World Dialogue Summit.

Iran (IMNA) - During their meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also discussed the latest regional developments, with a particular focus on the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. Both ministers condemned the situation, highlighting two years of what they described as genocidal actions by the Zionist regime and the continued blockade by Tel Aviv, which has prevented the delivery of food and medical aid to the besieged area.

They stressed the urgent need for greater regional collaboration to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. Additionally, Araghchi briefed his Qatari counterpart on the most recent developments regarding the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States.
