Iran (IMNA) - Araghchi criticized efforts by "the Israeli regime and certain Special Interest groups" to undermine diplomatic progress, stating that their attempts to derail negotiations through various tactics are "abundantly clear for all to see." He warned that Iran's security services remain on high alert due to previous incidents of sabotage and assassination attempts aimed at provoking a response from Tehran.
He further cautioned against the manipulation of public opinion, noting that "those seeking to manipulate public opinion can also be expected to come up with fantastical claims and props like scary-looking satellite images."
Reaffirming Iran's position, Araghchi concluded, "Reality check: Every single milligram of enriched uranium in Iran is under full and constant IAEA supervision and monitoring."
Tehran has consistently criticized Western countries for what it describes as double standards on human rights and weapons of mass destruction, maintaining that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, as verified by the UN nuclear watchdog.
In recent developments, two rounds of nuclear and sanctions-lifting talks between Iran and the United States have taken place over the past two Saturdays, first in Oman and then in Italy. Both sides described the discussions as very positive and constructive.
