Iran (IMNA) - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy is conducting maritime maneuvers with resistance forces in these countries to mark International Quds Day at 10:00 am Tehran local time on Thursday.
The exercise features over 3,000 naval vessels, including traditional wooden boats and motorboats, deployed across the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. Key IRGC warships—the Martyr Abu Mahdi, Martyr Soleimani, and Martyr Sayad Shirazi —are leading the parade under IRGC Navy Commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri.
Simultaneous drills are underway in Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, reflecting coordinated regional solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The event underscores Iran’s military alignment with allies in the Middle East amid heightened tensions over Gaza and broader geopolitical rivalries.
