Iran Seeks Stronger Partnership with India Amid 75-Year Diplomatic Milestone

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed his country's commitment to deepening ties with India, emphasizing the shared prosperity of both nations.

Iran (IMNA) - In a post on his X account on Saturday, Araghchi celebrated 75 years of diplomatic relations between Iran and India, stating, “Today, we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations between modern states of Iran & India.”

Highlighting the historical and cultural connections between the two countries, he noted that these ties span centuries, if not millennia, and have been instrumental in fostering mutual growth and cooperation. “Our shared history and cultural bonds go back centuries if not millennia, joining our nations at the hip,” he wrote.

Araghchi underscored the importance of strengthening this partnership further for the benefit of both nations, adding, “Looking forward to further strengthening our partnership for the prosperity of our nations.”
