IRGC Ground Force Introduces New Drones During Military Exercise

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has unveiled a series of new kamikaze and reconnaissance drones during the ongoing Great Prophet-19 military exercise in southwestern Iran.

Iran (IMNA) - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has unveiled new kamikaze and reconnaissance drones during the Great Prophet-19 military exercise in southwestern Iran.

The drones introduced include:
Bina: A hybrid reconnaissance drone with a 40-kilometer operational range.
Qandil 4 and 5: Reconnaissance drones with a 100-kilometer range and flight endurance of 5 and 10 hours, respectively.
Arbaeen: A vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone with a 10-kilometer range, capable of carrying a 7-kilogram bomb.
Raad 2: A kamikaze drone with a 20-kilometer range and a 5-kilogram warhead.
Raad 3: A kamikaze drone with a 100-kilometer range and a 12-kilogram warhead.
Saeqeh: A suicide drone with a 20-kilometer range and a 1-kilogram warhead.

The micro multi-motor Saber UAV for combat purposes, capable of carrying anti-armor, anti-personnel carrier, and anti-fortification bombs with a 5-kilometer operational range, was also unveiled. Additionally, the "Redwan" loitering drone, with a range of 20 kilometers and a flight duration of 20 minutes, was unveiled and put into operation. The easy and rapid deployment of the Redwan drone provides the IRGC’s ground force’s rapid response units with new capabilities to confront terrorist groups, especially in complicated mountainous areas.
